"YOU COME TO ME" IS THE FIRST BALLAD SINGLE BY MARIA ILIÅVA

Last month the "You Come To Me" video by Maria Ilieva was promoted, which is her new single. MI Productions, the artist's producing house, distributed the single in all media.
As usual, Maria Ilieva has gathered top names to collaborate in her project. The ballad "You Come To Me" is set to music, lyrics and arrangement by Grafa. The director and the camera of the video are by Georgi Markov, who shot Moon Dream and Nothing. The editing and the post production are by Cast Studio. The Art Director is Georgi Manov.
"You Come To Me" is the second single by Maria Ilieva from her forthcoming album, which is expected in the autumn. The music producer of the album is Georgi Yanev, the guitarist of the band Kaffe.
The video "You Come To Me" was shot in the newly opened Sofia Grand Hotel, which opened doors for its first production of the kind, and in the Marticom furniture boutique store, offering unique furniture by avant-garde European designers.
A special stage design was made for the video shots: a huge white cube, where Maria Ilieva goes and sings as it rotates; an aquarium of 170 liters of water in which color pigments are diffused, as well as numerous backgrounds.
"You Come To Me" captures an emotional impression by a person having lived through an intimate separation. Strange and incomprehensible moods, arbitrary thoughts and stray feelings create the sense of a different, artificial reality and a strange world of love sadness.

In the beginning of 2002 Maria Ilieva issued her first solo album "Moon Dream", which was called "an event in Bulgarian pop music". The album became indicative for a high and prestigious style of work. Following her national tour and a total of three singles in her debut album /"Moon Dream", "Nothing" and "All Right"/, Maria Ilieva emphasized her fast and undisputable success with the maxi single "Stereo Room", which was released at the end of the same year. The animated video and the DJ remixes showed that Bulgarian pop performers can do experimentations, and good at that.
In 2003 Maria Ilieva decided to continue with a new solo project, changing entirely her music style and image. At the end of 2003, following some video shooting in the US, "What Does it Take" appeared, followed by Maria Ilieva's Calendar for 2004, and now comes her second single "You Come To Me". The style of the entire project is inspired by favorite soul, jazz and R'n'B artists. The music will feature more acoustic tunes, live instruments and, of course, the voice, without which Bulgarian pop music can no longer make it.
