2001-2002
The first single by Maria Ilieva - Moon Dream came out in the summer of 2001. Then came Nothing - and again, in the same year, the album Moon Dream /February'2002/, which was accepted as "an event in Bulgarian pop music", the joint project of Maria Ilieva with "ÒÅ" - "All Right", the animated Stereo Room /December'2002/.
2003
in the beginning of March 2003 BG Radio awarded Maria Ilieva best performer of 2002. At the end of March Maria Ilieva is again the best performer of 2002, this time, by the assessment of ÒvÌÌ, the biggest music channel in Bulgaria. Meanwhile Maria Ilieva won all the awards for a female debut of 2001, the female vocal award of 2001, the video award /Moon Dream/ of 2001, a debut album Moon Dream was released, then the Stereo Room maxisingle, and at the end of 2002 Maria Ilieva was awarded best performer of 2002 by the Ritam Magazine (Rhythm Magazine). Za Men (For Me) Magazine places Maria Ilieva in the third position of its beauty ratings for the most beautiful female of 2002, the TV ÌÌ awarded the Nothing video as the number one video for the longest period over the TV charts.
In September 2003 Maria Ilieva became the first celebrity testimonial for Pantene Pro-V in Bulgaria.

2004
"What does it take" - the first single from the forthcoming second album by Maria Ilieva is at the top position in the official chart of ÒvÌÌ - "Top 20", only ten days following its release on TV. The video was filmed in Los Angelis, California in the autumn of 2003.

In December, the calendar of Maria Ilieva was photographed for 2004. It was made by clamer design studio in collaboration with the 5 best Bulgarian photographers, Encho Najdenov, Alexander Mollov, Temelko Temelkov, Angel Tzvetanoff and Kalin Ruichev, the project was finalized in Los Angelis by the last, sixth shot.

At the beginning of December 2003, Maria Ilieva won an award for best performer of 2003 of the BNT and the "MeloTvMania" program. The Bravo Radio /Varna/ awarded Maria Ilieva for best feminine style of 2003.

Maria Ilieva was nominated in the best performer of 2003 category by the ÒÂ ÌÌ and BG Radio, and BG Radio invited her to host their annual music awards ceremony.

In April 2004, Maria Ilieva's single You Come to Me was released, followed, soon afterwards, by a video of the same title. In May, Maria Ilieva won the Pantene Beauty Awards for the most stylish hair maintenance for 2003.
